This month's theme for many of our discussion groups, weekly questions, challenges, and prompt parties is Exposition!

the insertion of background information within a story or narrative; expository writing embedded within the narrative

How do you tell the reader what they need to know without boring them? How do you decide what to explain to the audience and what to leave up to them to figure out or imagine? What are some good and bad examples of explosion in stories you’ve read or seen?
