My latest blog post tackles how you have to prioritize your writing by carving out time in your day in order to get anything done. That's a great sentiment, but not always the easiest thing to do!
Personally, I'm pretty lucky to have control over most of my schedule. I don't have kids or a partner to take care of. My time is mostly my own. Still, working, taking care of the house, making food, and seeing friends still takes up a lot of my time. This summer was particularly rough to get any writing done with a lot going on at work (read: exhausted!) and suffering a significant Writer's Block (which we all know doesn't exist). Anyway, I still did butt-in-chair and wrote through it during free moments. When I find myself on Twitter too long, that's a signal to me to do something more productive.
How do you find the time to write?
