What gets readers excited about your WIP?
What are they curious about?
Where they were mesmerized by the prose or on the edge of their seats from the thrill?
This is not a critique circle, this is a cheerleading circle!
You should come prepared with about three minutes of spoken text from their WIP to share. (This works out to about 500 to 1,250 words or 2 to 5 manuscript pages.) This can be from a chapter you'd like to read, a synopsis you'd like to share, or whatever would be most helpful or exciting for you. We'll also post the excerpt on the #positive-feedback-fest channel for people to read along for poor man's subtitles. (Note: You will have to chop up your post into 2,000 character max. chunks because Discord is mean. Word can do the counting for you!)
Folks who RSVP to the event will be added to the private #positive-feedback-fest channel on the day of the event and keep access for the following week, if anyone wants to continue the conversation!
