This discussion group is for writers of any genre, medium, or skill level to get together and talk about various aspects of writing. It’s an opportunity to talk about your current projects, share writing tips and strategies, ask questions, and connect with others who share your interest in creative writing. This month’s discussion topic is: Description. How do you use descriptive language to help the reader see, hear, smell, taste, and feel your story world and characters? How much do you describe and how much do you leave to the reader’s imagination? Are there any descriptive techniques that you like to use in your writing or that you enjoy reading in other writer’s works?
For in person events: Masks and other measures are no longer required, but feel free to take the precautions that make you feel the most comfortable, and please use your judgement to stay home if you don’t feel well.
